It was totally awesome! However, I pointed out that if we refer to it as Fight Club it will be inevitably pretentious. Also, we are not part of a terrorist organization and the style of fighting was different. We were being unrestrained, but not inflicting the serious physical injuries described in the book. You could argue that in that case we were still exercising some restraint, but even though there's a distinct difference between slamming someone's face into concrete so hard that it leaves a bloody face imprint behind and simply punching someone as hard as you can/hurling them into the ground, I'd argue that the second style is still an effective way to release angry energy and that it's simply being directed in a different way.
Also, you should totally get in on this! Visit St. Mary's if you can. Hell, I'd be willing to have a bout with you when I come home from school. What do you weigh, about 140 pounds?
